Kathleen Ann Paulsen

Kathleen (“Kathie”) Ann Paulsen of Davidson, NC passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025 at the age of 77, surrounded by her loving family.

Kathie was born in Council Bluffs, IA on March 10, 1948 to the late Leslie Merle and Dorothy Ann Ward. She is survived by her husband Clifford; three children and their spouses (Brett and Bernadette Paulsen; Gregg and Colleen Paulsen; Diane and Scott Gerbereux); seven grandchildren (Kathryn and Luke; Claire, Clifford and Grant; Caroline and Connor); and her siblings (Richard Ward and Diane Howard).

Kathie lived in Iowa, Nebraska and North Carolina. She was a devoted Christian and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She found immense joy in her family and her home, and was known for her generosity and unwavering commitment to her church and singing in the choir.

A memorial service will be held at the Davidson United Methodist Church on October 11, 2025.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Brain Tumor Society or the Music Ministry of Davidson United Methodist Church.
