Kevin "Buddy" Eugene Walton

Mr. Kevin Buddy Eugene Walton 63 of Charlotte, NC died Saturday May 21, 2011 at his residence. Born October 30, 1947 in Bessemer City, NC he was a son of Gerald Rubin Walton Sr. and the late Vata Faye Moose Walton.

Buddy attended West Mecklenburg High School and liked to cook, fish and the outdoors. He was a veteran of the US Marine serving in Vietnam 67-68 and Cuba 68 and received two bronze stars.

Memorial services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday May 28 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour (12:00 to 1:00) prior to the service.

He leaves to cherish his memory his father, Gerald Walton, Sr .and wife Shirley Godbold Walton of Charlotte; brother, Gerald Bubba Walton, Jr. and wife Lori of Troutman; sister, Terry Lynne Walton of Statesville; daughters, Angelia Miller and Brook Badurski; son, Kevin Byrum; grandchild, Murron Miller and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
