Kevin Joseph Higgs

Kevin Joseph Higgs, 44 died suddenly November 21 in Stanley N.C. as a result of a motor vehicle accident He was born and raised in Fairfax County Va. and resided in North Carolina for the past eighteen years. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1984 1989. He was employed by Mechanical Systems & Services Inc. in Charlotte N.C. His hobbies included golf, football and Nascar racing.

Survivors include his loving wife Tina and their eight month old son CJ both of the Lake Norman area, N.C.

Also Surviving are his mother and stepfather Connie and William Gianopulos, of Gainesville Va., his father and stepmother Joseph and Sandra Higgs of Broad Run Va., his sister and brother-in-law Kim and Albert Duvall of Amissville Va., his sister and brother-in-law Charleen and Michael Dardinski of Winchester Va. his mother and father-in-law Sue and Dan Gajewski of Salisbury N.C., his brother-in-law Joe Gajewski of Salisbury N.C., many relatives and friends.

Kevin was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend to all. A visitation will be held Wednesday evening November 24 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Raymer Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to College America, CJ Higgs 529 Plan, 8004 Turnberry Lane Stanley NC 28164 or the East Lincoln Vol. Fire Dept, 406 S Pilot Knob Road, Stanley, NC 28164.
