Larry Scholl Hanson

December 29, 1943 — November 14, 2025

Larry passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 14th.  He is now reunited with his beloved parents Ina and Arthur Hanson and brother Dale who preceded him in death.

Larry was born in Austin, Minnesota and moved to Perrysburg, Ohio when he was 15.  It was there he met and later married his high school sweetheart, Karen Len.  Larry was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  He worked for many years in the engineering and construction fields.  He was a contract employee for many of the largest Architectural and Engineering firms in the US.  While he enjoyed his work, his family always came first.  After retirement he enjoyed traveling, golfing, hosting friends and working with stained glass.  Larry was always happiest when he was surrounded by his family and helping with their home remodeling projects.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Karen Hanson and their sons, Jeffrey (Amy) and Joel (Suzanne). Grandchildren; Michael (Katie), Andrew (Megan), Matthew (Reagan), Christopher, Kelsey and Kevin & great-grandsons Lane, Wyatt, and Quinn.
