Lee Burke Kyle, of Huntersville, NC passed away at home on April 21, 2023. Lee was born at Church of Christ The King (Sudbury), Ontario, Canada on January 19, 1940 to the late Julienne Belanger and Buck Kyle.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Margi Schmidt Kyle; younger brother, Morris Zimmerman; son, Joel Martin Kyle; and daughter, Nancy Kyle Elliott; stepchildren, Ian Anderson, Julie Anderson Grazioso, Scott Anderson, Janice Anderson Knott, Mitzi McGirl, and Alex Billesdon.
Lee was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His hobbies included swimming, golfing, and music. He had his own band for over 15 years in North Bay, Canada- Bacchus; professional singer, Piano player and Accordion player; professional Licensed Boat Captain; and semi- professional Hockey Player up until he was 78 with The Bud Men.

Former DOT Certified Instructor, Defensive Driving Course for Professional Truck Drivers
A memorial service to celebrate Lee’s life will be held on May 5, 2023, at 5:00 pm at Sweet Magnolia Estate, 10101 Bailey Road, Cornelius NC. The family will receive friends.
