Linda Hoffman

Linda Ann Hoffman, 74, of Fairfield, CA, passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior on August 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on November 4, 1951, in Vallejo, CA.

Linda was the beloved wife of Zehner Hoffman, III, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage built on love, faith, commitment, and family. Together, they created a home where everyone knew they were loved, welcomed, and cared for. 

While Linda worked in several roles throughout her life, including as a teacher’s aide and later as the Director of Activities at a senior center, her greatest calling was being a wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She poured her heart into caring for her family each and every day. Whether she was preparing meals, keeping the home, offering encouragement, or simply making sure everyone was taken care of, Linda gave of herself without expecting anything in return. 

She had a creative spirit and found joy in crocheting and sketching, often creating beautiful pieces that reflected her patience and gentle heart. More than anything, however, Linda’s life was defined by her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. She loved the Lord deeply, prayed faithfully every day, and trusted Him through every season of life.

If there was one thing everyone who knew Linda would say, it was this: she loved with her whole heart. Her compassion came naturally. She always put others before herself, and her family was the greatest joy of her life. She celebrated their successes, carried their burdens, prayed over them constantly, and loved them unconditionally. That love will continue to live on in the lives of everyone she touched. 

Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Zehner Hoffman, III; her son, Mike Hoffman, and his wife, Marilou; her daughter, Jenny Wagner, and her husband, Dave Wagner; her cherished grandchildren, Claire Wagner, Camille Wagner, Zehner Hoffman, IV, and Michael Hoffman, Jr.; and her beloved step-grandchildren, Mark, Nico, Nolan, and Aaron. She also leaves behind extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory. 

A visitation will be held from 9:30AM - 11:00AM on Saturday August 8, 2026.

A funeral service will be held following visitation at 11:00 AM in the chapel at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home.

Although our hearts are broken, we rejoice in knowing that Linda’s faith has become sight. The woman who spent a lifetime praying to her Savior is now in His presence, hearing the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Her earthly work is complete, but her legacy of love, compassion, faith, and family will continue for generations to come. 

Our family finds comfort in God’s promise:

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord… will award to me on that day.” 2 Timothy 4:7–8 

Linda will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. Until we meet again, Mom, we love you.
