Maria Cristina Hernandez, 67, of Mount Holly, NC passed away on January 30, 2021. Maria Cristina was born in Mexico City on July 24, 1953 to the late Eduardo Hernandez Lozano and Maria de Jesus Estrada.
Along with her parents Maria Cristina is precede in death by Miguel Alejandro Hernandez Estrada, Guadalupe Hernandez Estrada, Manuel Hernandez Estrada, Enriqueta Hernandez Estrada, Teresa Hernandez Estrada, Armando Hernandez Estrada; granddaughter, Natalia Sanchez; and grandson, Jonatha Rodriguez.
She is survived by her sister, Beatriz Smith; sister, Marta Alicia Hernandez; son, Israel Sanchez; son, Gustavo Sanchez; and daughter, Alondrda Sanchez; daughter, Fabiola Sanchez; grandchildren, Kevin Rodriguez, Jesus Sanchez, Carlos Sanchez, Cristopher Bernal, Erick Sanchez, Josue Sanchez, Daniel Sanchez, Nehemias Rodriguez, Jose Licona, Diego Licona, Daniel Rodriguez, Gustavo Sanchez, Luis Licona.
Christina Hernandez was a dedicated and exemplary wife, mother, friend, and sister with a great heart, humor, and respect for others. She was someone who wanted to make everyone happy with her jokes and smiles and wanted give the best to her children. Her family will always remember her words of encouragement. Her words will last in the hearts of the people who had the gift of knowing such a great human being.
Rest in peace, your family will always remember you as a loving and caring mother.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC.
A visitation will also be held from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Sunday, February 7, 2021 in the chapel at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. Following the service she will be laid to rest at Northlake Memorial Gardens in Huntersville, NC.
