Mark Kibel

Mark Dwayne Kibel, 59, of Cornelius, NC passed away on September 2, 2019.

Mark was born on May 4, 1960 to the Arthur Kibel and Letha Kibel, where he was raised on a farm down by Goodland, KS. He graduated from High School in 1978. He worked most of his life doing construction and traveled all over the country. He was a hard worker and never expected anything less than perfection. He may have been tough on people, but he never told anyone no when they asked for help. He could not stand for anyone to be upset, so he was quick to forgive and build people back up. He was by far the most selfless person anyone will ever meet. He was always willing to do anything asked of him regardless of how he felt. Mark was a great son, husband, and father. His smile and his laugh will truly be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to meet him.

Mark is preceded in death by father, Arthur Kibel; and brothers, Jim and Kurtis Kibel.

He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Kibel; children, Brooke Kibel, Heath Kibel, Ashley Whitt, Cody Whitt, and Lacey Kibel; one grandson;  mother, Letha Kibel, brother, Stan and Dawn Kibel, brother, John and Sheri Kibel; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC. The family will receive friends and family for a visitation from 2:00-3:00 pm prior to the service.  A graveside service will be held on September 28, 2019 at 2PM at the Cortez Cemetery in Cortez, CO
