Mary Pauline McMahan

Mrs. Mary Pauline Smith McMahan, 93, of Huntersville, NC died December 8, 2010. She was born November 1, 1917 in Columbus Indiana the daughter of the late Marshall and Lula Gellinger Smith. She married Clyde McMahan on July 10, 1937. She is survived by her three children, Ann (David) Gossman of Huntersville, NC, Merrill (Madonna) McMahan of Wausau Wisconsin and Dennis (Jan) McMahan of Knightstown Indiana; four grandchildren, Eric Gossman of Warner Robbins, Ga, Ross McMahan of Incline Village NV, Mara Gossman of Huntersville NC and Michael McMahan of Indianapolis, IN and ten great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde and grandson Wesley McMahan. She was an accomplished organist and pianist and enjoyed teaching both to her students. While living in Florida, she was organist for the Passion Play where she played in Florida in the winter and Spearfish S.D. in the summer. Private services will be held at a later date at Garland Brook in Columbus Indiana.
