Mary Ella (Morgan) Parker

Mary Morgan Parker, 96, of Charlotte, NC passed away on September 21, 2026.

Mary was born in Pageland, SC on October 15, 1929 to the late J.L. Morgan and Bertha Morgan.

Mary was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved cooking, gardening, fishing at the beach, listening to bluegrass music, watching Carolina Panthers football and Carolina Tarheels basketball.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters; her husband, Omri Parker; daughter, Deborah Bubboltz; granddaughter, Allyson Parker.

She is survived by her sister, Ann Turner; daughter, Donna Whitesides; son, Rodney Parker; grandchildren, Michelle Miller, Daniel Whitesides, Morgan Parker, Jason Parker; great grandchildren, Colby Miller, Lucas Whitesides, Jacob Whitesides, Maxton Whitesides, Alora Parker.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, September 24, 2026 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm.

A graveside service will immediately follow the memorial service and take place at Pleasant Grove UMC Cemetery.
