Matthew Ethan Wray

Matthew Ethan Wray passed away on November 1, 2022 at his home. Matt was born on February 8, 1974 in Guildford County, North Carolina to Robert D. and Judy Simmons Wray. He was a graduate of Northwest Guildford High School and Appalachian State University with degrees in Communications and Business.

Matt began his career in professional sports with the Washington Redskins with additional stints with teams in the NFL and NASCAR. He finished his successful career as the president of Fanshield.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn Marie Wray; son, Cooper Wray; daughter, Reagan Wray; parents, Bob and Judy; brother, John Wray; sister-in-law, Brooks Wray; and mother-in-law, Donna Parrish.

A celebration of life will be held at Stokesdale United Methodist Church in Stokesdale, North Carolina on Sunday, November 6th at 2:00 o’clock.
