Meghan Marie Fowler, a cherished wife, mother, daughter, and sister, passed away on June 10, 2024, in Davidson, North Carolina. Born on September 2, 1983, in Atlanta, Georgia, Meghan brought love and joy to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Meghan was a beacon of light in the lives of her family and friends. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to her loved ones and found immense joy in spending time with them. Her kind and selfless nature was evident in every aspect of her life. Meghan's family meant everything to her; her husband Josh and their children Evelyn, Emilia, and Harrison.
Apart from being a loving wife and mother, Meghan had a passion for playing video games and expressing her love through baking and cooking for others. Her warm presence could brighten even the darkest of days, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met.
Meghan is survived by her husband Joshua Van Fowler; father Norman Bruce Walko; daughters Evelyn and Emilia; son Harrison; brother Robert Walko and his wife Maralyn; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She is predeceased by her mother Sharon Marie Swette Walko.
Services to celebrate Meghan's life will be held at Raymer - Kepner in Huntersville, North Carolina. A visitation will take place on Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The funeral service will follow on Friday, June 21, 2024, 10:00 AM at Raymer-Kepner in Huntersville, and will be officiated by Chaplain Jonathan Allen. The family will hold a private interment service at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Charlotte.
