Mildred Brechter Edwards

Mildred M Edwards, age 93, longtime resident of Huntersville NC, died Sunday, January 28, 2024 peacefully at home. 

She was born July 6, 1930 in Brooklyn NY, the daughter of late Karl Brechter and Marie Glasbrenner Brechter. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Louis Edwards and son, Ralph Bruce Edwards.

Mildred was an active member of Community in Christ Lutheran Church as well as a former member the Charlotte Women's Club.

Survivors include her son, Bruce K. Edwards, his wife, Kathy Edwards and cherished grandchildren, Heather M. Edwards, Chad A. Edwards and Branden C. Edwards as well as her brother, Ralph Brechter and her nephew, Robert Brechter.

A viewing will occur from 3:30-4:30 pm Friday, February 2, 2024 immediately followed by a service for those who wish to attend at 4:30-5:30pm. Community in Christ Lutheran Church, Pastor Michael Beery officiating. Burial will be with her husband Henry Louis Edwards at Pinelawn Memorial Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
