Miles "Rickey" Moss

Miles “Rickey” Moss, 56, of Stanley, NC, entered eternal life on Tuesday January 26, 2016 at 11:15pm surrounded by family and friends.  Rickey was born May 19, 1959 in Salem South Carolina to the late Miles Alton and Phyllis Moss.

Rickey was a loyal employee of Duke Energy of 35 years. He was a loving and caring husband and father.

Rickey enjoyed being outdoors, was an avid golfer and had a passion for cars, old trucks and Clemson football. He also had a deep love for his dog Eva.

Rickey always had a smile on his face, he loved to laugh and enjoyed making others laugh. He was the king of jokes and always the life of the party. There was never a dull moment when he was around, he enjoyed and lived life to the fullest.

Visitation will be held Friday January 29, 2016 from 2-4 pm at Castanea Presbyterian Church in Stanley, NC with the service to follow. The burial will be Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 2:00pm at Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, South Carolina.

Rickey is survived by; wife, Dawn Moss; son, Tyler Moss; stepdaughter, Bailey Johnson; Sisters, Pam Dellinger, Rose Ellen Sain, April Warren, and Sharon Lasker; brother, Spencer Moss; stepmother,  Dorothy Moss; and granddaughter, Kaidence Moss.
