Millie LoBianco, a beloved figure known for her unwavering dedication and generous spirit, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2024, at the age of 94. Born on January 2, 1930, in Italy, she was a nurturing presence to all who knew her, embodying grace and warmth throughout her life.
Millie enjoyed a fulfilling career as an executive secretary for an insurance company, where her attention to detail and professionalism were well respected. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she made lasting impressions with her deeply devoted personality, captivating those around her with her kindness and compassion.
An enthusiastic lover of life, Millie had a range of interests that included golf, travel, and playing mahjong. These hobbies brought her joy and allowed her to create cherished memories with friends and family over the years.
Millie's legacy will be carried on by her loving family members, including her nieces JoAnn Deitch, Cathy Anderson, Geri and husband Bill Bruno, Sandy and husband Peter Cavaliere, Patricia Hill, Annette and husband Charlie Bauer, and Mariann and husband Tony DeRiso, nephew Anthony and wife Linda Domanico, as well as her great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Dominic and Antoinette LoBianco, she was preceded in death by her beloved sisters, Rose Pomponio, Phyllis Santagata, and Josephine Domanico. Their memories and the bonds they shared will always remain close to her family's hearts.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, North Carolina. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at St. Mark Catholic Church at 11:30 AM, with burial to follow at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery in Cornelius, NC. The family will receive friends from 10:30 - 11:30 AM prior to the Mass.
Millie LoBianco's extraordinary spirit will be sorely missed, yet her impact on everyone she encountered will forever be cherished and remembered.
