Miryam M. Best

Miryam M. Best, 70, of Huntersville, NC passed away on August 28, 2026.

Miryam was born in Callao, Peru, on April 14, 1956 to the late Victoria Cardenas and Bernardo Sandoval.

Miryam was a hardworking woman, both in Peru and in the United States, a lifelong student, who loved painting, cooking and traveling. Miryam was a lifelong devotee of El Señor de los Milagros. Her unwavering faith and devotion to her Peruvian heritage guided her throughout her life.

She is survived by her husband, Pablo A.; sons, Pablo W. and Antonio; grandchildren, Antonio Best and Amelia Best; brother, Bernardo; and sisters, Nelida, Elsa, and Martha. She dedicated a great deal of her life to caring for her loving grandkids, Tonito and Amelia.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at St. Mark's Catholic Church. Following the service, Miryam will be laid to rest in Beatties Ford Memorial Gardens in Huntersville, NC.
