Pamella Suzanna Moon

August 6, 1951 — September 11, 2020

Pamella Suzanna Phillips Moon passed on Friday, September 11, 2020. She was born on August 6, 1951, in Shelby, North Carolina, to George and Geraldine Phillips.

She was predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Bo Moon; her parents; her brother, Jim Harmon.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy Hallman; son-in-law, Lee Hallman; grandson, Colby Hallman, all of Huntersville; her loving companion, David Adeimy, of Hamlet; her sister, Vita Timberlake and husband David, of Raleigh; her sister, Rhonda Jones and husband David, of Raleigh; her brother, George Lee Phillips, Jr. and wife Maxine, of Raleigh; her mother-in-law, Maxine Mintz and husband Bill, of Iron Station; and her brother-in-law, Randi Moon with wife Pamela and son Andrew Moon, all of Coolidge, Georgia. She had many, loving cousins and three nieces and three nephews.

Pam was a beloved wife, mother, Mamaw, and friend. She worked at various Ford dealerships in the Charlotte area for more than 20 years, starting as a warranty clerk and working her way up to respected assistant service manager at Harrelson Ford. She loved her work, until she became a Mamaw, and she stayed home with Colby until he started kindergarten. Pam was a faithfully loyal person to anyone she loved, including her circle of lifelong girlfriends with whom she once played tennis and bridge and traveled; her shag community; and Butch’s family and friends.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date because of Covid concerns, which she would want.

Raymer Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville will serve the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Waterfowl Rescue, PO Box 1484, Indian Trail, NC, 28079.
