Patricia Lynn Gross, 76, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away on May 31, 2022.
Patricia was born in Hartford, Connecticut on January 7, 1946 to the late Jack Charles Fisher and Simmy Magid Fisher. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Martin Gross, and her sister, Judy Fisher Lief.
Patricia fought Parkinson's with her head held high, never lost her dignity, and kept her sense of humor. Her lifelong commitment to exercise carried her through many changes and made her stronger. She was always kind and never judged anyone, except for one particular bombastic politician. She was a huge fan of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and listened to audiobooks about her, lent from the NC Library for the Blind, when she could no longer read. She was an avid reader of mysteries. Pat collected dolls and is the rare person who grew up in the 50s with an African American Madame Alexander Girl Scout doll and baby dolls, too. Her heart was evidenced by her dolls. We will miss her to the moon and back.
She is survived by her daughters, Jackie Gross of Durham, North Carolina and Rachel Gross of Spain.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Parkinson Association of the Carolinas, 2101 Sardis Rd. North, Suite 102, Charlotte, NC 28227.
