Patricia Ann Springs, affectionately known as "Trish," passed away on December 17, 2025, just one day after her 78th birthday, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that touched all who knew her. Born on December 16, 1947 in Charlotte, NC, Trish spent her early years in Baltimore, Maryland, moving there at the tender age of 9. She created fond memories in Baltimore, often returning to visit friends and indulge in the city's famous crabs.
In the mid-1980s, Trish relocated back to Charlotte, North Carolina, with her son Donny, where she would make a significant impact on her community. A passionate lover of the outdoors, she founded her own lawn care company in 1992, a venture she dedicated herself to until 2023. Beyond her business, Trish found joy in the thrill of NASCAR, even offering golf cart rides at the Charlotte Speedway before transitioning to work as a ticket scanner.
Trish's personality shone brightly; she was a true people person who treated all her friends like family. Her spirit of love and community was evident in every interaction, and she created lasting bonds with everyone she met.
In 1990, fate smiled upon Trish when she met her future husband, Charlie Springs Jr., at a race—a moment that blossomed into a beautiful marriage in 1991. Together, they shared 34 wonderful years of love and companionship.
Trish is survived by her beloved husband Charlie, her son Donny Wagner and his wife Megan, and her cherished granddaughter, Harper Lynn Wagner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dwight Council McIntosh and Audrey Vallaree Orr McIntosh, who undoubtedly instilled in her the values of hard work and kindness that she carried throughout her life.
A visitation to honor Trish's life will be held on December 22, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM, both taking place at Raymer-Kepner in Huntersville, North Carolina.
As we reflect on the vibrant life of Patricia Ann Springs, we celebrate her warmth, her entrepreneurial spirit, and her unwavering love for family and friends. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
