Purnell Daniels

Purnell Melvin Daniels, 68, of Harrisburg, NC departed this life on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, NC.  Purnell was born in Wilmington, DE to the late Dr. Janet Daniels-Fountaine and Preston Samuel Benson. 

Purnell leaves to cherish his devoted and loving wife of 42yrs. Karen J. Furrowh-Daniels; 3 Daughters - Stacey and Ebony Daniels; Chennell Mowbray; 4 Grandchildren- Terrance and Isaiah Gatling; Kamryn Bouler; Chloe Patterson and a Godson Brandon Furrowh.  2 Aunts- Beatrice Steele and Christine Benson; Mother in law -Emma J. Furrowh (the late Rev. Dr. James L. Furrowh); Brothers in law -Tyrone Furrowh (the late Betty Furrowh); Larry Furrowh (Laura); Steven and the late Michael and David Furrowh.  Sisters in law-Patricia Cole (Richard); Bertha Wilson (Kenneth); Doris Singh; and Cynthia Furrowh; a devoted cousin Gill El (Shirley).  A host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 6, 2017 at Pleasant Grove AME Zion Church, 9900 Christenbury Rd, Concord, NC 28027 at 4pm.
