Robert W. Hardy

Robert Hardy, (Bob) 88, of Iron Station, NC passed away on April 8, 2026.

Bob was born in Astoria Queens, NY on May 10, 1937 to the late Charlotte Reidy and Robert Hardy.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his late wife, Barbara Hardy; Brother, Stephen Hardy.

He is survived by Daughters, JeanMarie Pastorino, Donna Hardy, BarbaraAnn Hardy; Sons, Robert Hardy, Michael Hardy; Sisters, Patricia Rocafort, Virginia Schmidt; Grandchildren, Kristina Foster, Nicole Marques, Thomas Hardy, Michael Marques, Matthew Hardy; Great grandchildren, Damian Foster, Luke Hardy, Jonathan Foster, Madison Hardy, Katharine Foster, Travis Hardy, Jacob Depew.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC.

A memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm in the chapel.

Bob was an adventurous individual who exercised regularly at the gym or on his Chuck Norris total gym, played golf with his buddies, played pickleball and enjoyed whitewater rafting and hiking. He was also very active in the NC senior games and won many medals. He enjoyed spending time with his family, cruising and of course his snacks and ice cream.
