Robert A. Sigmon

Robert Alonzo Sigmon, 86, of Denver, North Carolina passed away on June 2, 2026.

He was born September 10, 1939 to the late Gaither Bandy Sigmon and Katie McIntosh Sigmon. In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Howie Sigmon and brothers, Ken Sigmon and Dean Sigmon.

He is survived by his daughters Dena Yantz and Carmen Sigmon; sister, Judy Gibson; brother, Graham Sigmon; grandson, Robert John Yantz: granddaughter, Samantha Yantz; and great-granddaughter, Charleston Yantz.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, Monday, June 8, 2026 at Salem United Methodist Church in Denver, NC. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm and interment in the church cemetery will commence following funeral services. Pastor Eric Lane will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to either the Wounded Warrior Project Foundation or St. Jude Children's Hospital in Robert's memory.
