Ronald "Ron" Charles Paranich

Ronald "Ron" C. Paranich, 76, of Huntersville, NC passed away peacefully on December 29, 2023 at his home after braving a chronic illness. Ron was born in Washington, DC to the late Delia W. Paranich and John Paranich. Ron loved to water ski, swim, bowl, and watch sports but most of all, he loved his family. He also served his Country in the United States Navy.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his sister, Jacqueline C. McDonald; grandson, Nash Charles Nicholson; and ex-wife, Sandra Rice Paranich.

Ron is survived by his devoted wife of 37 years, Mildred (Millie) Paranich; three daughters, Caryn Nicholson, Deborah Wheaton (David), and Sondra Montgomery (Brian); sister, Star Myers; nine grandchildren; and two great grandsons.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Sunday, January 7, 2023 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville. The family will receive friends from 10:30 – 11:00 AM prior to the service.
