Ruth Slutzky

Ruth Slutzky, 91, of Cornelius, NC passed away on April 11, 2026.

Ruth was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 5, 1934 to the late Isadore Adelman and Becky Schline.

Along with her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her daughter, Elisa; sister, Rose; brother, Myer; and husband Donald.

She is survived by her son, Howard.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at noon in the clubhouse of the Bailey's Glen community in Cornelius, NC.

Ruth was a huge animal lover and a compassionate vegan of over 15 years.  She was a kind, compassionate, and devoted mother, wife, and friend.  Ruth will be dearly missed by all who have had the privilege of knowing her.
