Samantha was born in Colorado and moved with her parents to Kingwood, TX as a child. She enjoyed growing up in Texas with all her friends as well as traveling to visit her family in Arizona and the family farm in Iowa. She has always had a love for animals throughout her life. As a young adult, one of her favorite things to do was to drive around in her Mustang with her friends. In her mid-20s she met her husband at a local country music event which she loved to attend as well as all other things Texas related such as floating the river, enjoying the great Texas food, and hanging out with her great friends Bridget Ney, Vanessa Thistle, Michelle Newby (cousin) at local Texas establishments. In her late 20’s she became mother to the most beautiful daughter Emma Rose and then in her early 30’s to the most entertaining and adorable son Victor James. She and her husband had a beautiful marriage ceremony in Punta Cana, D.R. and were able to enjoy it with some of the greatest people they know. In the most recent years, the Bognot family moved to Concord, NC where she met many more great people through her jobs at the YMCA as a childcare attendant and at her job as a Preschool Teacher at the Crossroads Church Preschool. She had the natural talent of being great with children and was loved by all she worked with. She also loved all her coworkers and discovered what she loved to do as a profession through those recent jobs. The most recent dream of her and her family was to move to Maine in their recently purchased house on Deer Pond and to be closer to family also located in Maine. She always loved visiting family there throughout the years and was so excited to start their new chapter in their waterfront cottage. As everybody that knew her will agree, she was such a beautiful person throughout and had an amazing ability to make anybody she met feel comfortable and at ease to have a personal conversation whether you just met her or had known her for her whole life. Samantha is the greatest mother that anybody could have ever asked for and she dedicated herself to her children as it is shown by their amazing personality and compassion for others. Samantha will be missed by all but will live in our hearts forever.
