Samuel Francis Westmoreland

Samuel Francis Westmoreland, 80, of Cornelius, North Carolina passed away February 10, 2021.

He was born in Mooresville, NC on December 14, 1940 to the late Thomas Westmoreland and Viler Hayes Westmoreland.

Sam is survived by his wife, Pat Westmoreland; daughter, Tori (Joe) Griffin; son, Tracy Westmoreland; brother, Melvin Westmoreland; stepsons, David (Karen) Sherrill and Bhrett Sherrill; grandchildren, Wendy (James) Goudelock, Lauren & Lindsay Westmoreland, Bhrett, Lacee, & Tucker Sherrill; and great-grandchildren, Lexi & Kaden Goudelock.

Sam enjoyed working as the Supervisor of Maintenance at Davidson College for 25 years.  

Services & interment will be held privately by the family.  The funeral service will be livestreamed on the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Facebook page at 4:00 PM on Saturday, February 13, 2021.
