Sophia Lee York Hurdle, 84, of Huntersville, NC passed away peacefully on July 31, 2016 at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House. Sophia was born September 7, 1931 in Webster, KY to the late John and Rosa McQueen York. She was a paper sorter for Champion International Paper.
Sophia is survived by her daughter, Rosanna Bowling and her husband Ronnie of Huntersville; grandchildren, Renee Bowling Agler and her husband Jeremy of Tampa, FL, Ryan Bowling and his wife Erin of Huntersville; great grandchildren Emma and Ethan Bowling.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at the James R. Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., Hamilton, OH 45015. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 pm. Burial will proceed at Rose Hill Burial Park, 2421 Princeton Road, Hamilton OH 45011.
