Susan Rocchio

Susan Lynne Rocchio, 65, of Huntersville, NC passed away on July 20, 2019. Susan was born in Denver, CO on June 6, 1954 to the late Louis and Martha Janeczek (Etienne).

Susan has had varied careers throughout her life, none more satisfying than teaching English to the immigrant community. Susan’s favorite activities were road trips through the American southwest and hiking the hills, mountains, and woodlands wherever she was.

Susan found inspiration through the arts and in engaging stories of personal human experience. She expressed her creativity through cooking.

Susan is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Rocchio; her daughter, Alexandra Rocchio; her son, Jordan Rocchio; her sister and brother-in-law, Mary & Don Brooks; her brother and sister-in-law Michael & Linda Janeczek; her brother Mark Janeczek; her god-daughter Stacy Brooks Vondra; and seven additional nieces and nephews.

Memorial Donations may be made to Compassion & Choices; Leukemia & Lymphoma Society NC Chapter – Charlotte; and Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region.
