Thomas Baker Brugh, 82 years old, of Charlotte, NC passed away on June 26, 2022. Thomas was born in Rogers, Ohio on September 4, 1939 to the late Hiram Brugh and Elizabeth Baker Brugh. Along with his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his brother David Brugh.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Eisel Brugh, and daughters, Michelle Rafeld (married to Jason Rafeld), and Melissa Zimmerman (married to Mike Zimmerman), and granddaughters Ava and Briana Rafeld.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in their longtime hometown of Bay Village, Ohio.

Thomas was a devoted husband and father and was always active in his community. While in Bay Village, Ohio he served as Bay Village City Councilman, a loyal Kiwana’s Club member, and was active with his church Bay Presbyterian Church where he served on many mission trips including Jamaica and Mountain Top Tennessee. In retirement, Tom and his wife Barb enjoyed traveling and decided to move across country to San Diego. California where Tom could enjoy his favorite pastime of golf at Torrey Pines. They enjoyed almost fifteen years on the West Coast and decided to move closest to their younger daughter Melissa and son in law Mike. They enjoyed their time together boating on Lake Norman and family dinners on their back porch. They joined Stonebridge Community Church and enjoyed joining in small life group and making friends in the community. They often looked forward to spending time with their oldest daughter Michelle and son in law Jason, and their two grandchildren Ava and Briana.
