Thomas James McCartney

Thomas James McCartney, 76, of Huntersville, NC passed away on February 4, 2018.

Thomas was born in Philadelphia on July 3, 1941 to the late Robert and Catherine McCartney.

Along with his parents Thomas is preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle; and siblings, Anne, Lillian, Robert, John, Richard.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Thomas retired from Neese’s Meat Company. He was a avid Washington Redskins fan and was a huge music lover.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm prior to the service. Following the service Thomas will be laid to rest next to his wife at Armstrong Cemetery in Gastonia, NC.
