Thomas Henry Snyder

Thomas “Tom” Henry Snyder, 78, of Cornelius, North Carolina passed away on Monday, October 6th, 2025. Tom was born July 15th, 1947 in Plainfield, New Jersey to Donald and Elsie Snyder.

Tom was a lover of aviation, boating, or anything outdoors; even if it was just taking his dog Neo down to the water. He also loved challenging his family to a game of backgammon every year at the beach while playing some of his favorite music.

Along with his parents, Donald and Elsie, Tom is preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Snyder and son, Shawn Snyder.

Tom is survived by his wife, Karen Snyder; his son Chad Snyder; his brothers Douglas and Jay Snyder; his granddaughters, Dominique Balevre, Caroline and Elizabeth Snyder; along with nieces and nephews.

At this time, plans have not been made for a service. The family plans to host a celebration of life at a later date. There will not be be an interment as the family has decided to persevere the ashes and spread them across some of Tom’s most loved places.
