Vera Elaine Brooks

Vera Elaine Brooks, 82, of Charlotte, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023. Vera was born in Buncombe County on April 29, 1941, the daughter of the late Charles P. Brooks and Lois Ballinger Brooks.

Vera graduated from Enka High School and retired from Gerber Products. She is survived by her son, Steve Brooks (Lisa); daughter, Cindy Brooks Ivey; grandchildren, Tyler Brooks, Jason Ivey, Alyssa Ivey; three great grandchildren; sister, Frances Brooks Welch and her children, Isaac Welch III, Tosh Welch, Tovah Welch, and Shimshon Welch.
