Violet Clarke

April 16, 1964 — July 17, 2024

Violet Clarke, 60, of Huntersville, NC, beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. 

 The legacy she leaves behind is one of love and devotion. Her children and family were the center of her world and she was always the life of the party with her warm and spirited personality.

 Violet was born in Zenta, Yugoslavia on April 16, 1964 to Viktoria Kovalik and the late Gabor Zemko. She spent her youth in Yugoslavia, Germany and Canada. In 2001 she moved with her family to Texas, and finally in 2006 to Huntersville, North Carolina. Violet was proud of her Hungarian heritage, spoke the language fluently, loved cooking traditional Hungarian recipes, and traveled often to Budapest, her favorite city. 

 Violet earned degrees in business and interior design and was a successful realtor in the Lake Norman area. She was a talented and passionate designer who helped so many people transform houses into beautiful homes. Violet also loved her rescue dogs, gardening, traveling, cooking, and live music. 

 She is survived by her daughter Sarah Eller, son-in-law Luke Eller, and son Brian Clarke. She is also survived by her mother Viktoria Kovalik, sister Erika Ferri, brother-in-law Nick Ferri, former spouse Brian Clarke, and numerous former in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

 A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM with a reception to follow on Saturday, August 3rd at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC. The service will be livestreamed and may be viewed below or by clicking LIVESTREAM.

 Violet’s beautiful smile and infectious laugh will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace knowing that she was truly loved and cherished by so many.
