Wayne Ezelle Briley

Wayne Ezelle Briley, a beloved investment broker, passed away on January 28, 2024, in Concord, NC. He was born on August 12, 1938, in Hassell, NC to his late parents Ezelle Briley and Gladys Purvis Briley. Wayne's contagious smile and kind-hearted nature touched the lives of all who knew him.

Wayne led a fulfilling life dedicated to serving others. After graduating high school, he proudly served in the Air Force from 1957 to 1960. This experience instilled in him a sense of discipline and commitment that would guide him throughout his career and personal life.

As an investment broker, Wayne exhibited exceptional skill and attention to detail. He was known for his honesty, loyalty, and hardworking nature. Wayne always put others first and ensured that his clients' needs were met with the utmost care. He cultivated lasting relationships based on trust and reliability.

Beyond his professional achievements, Wayne was a warm and comforting presence to everyone around him. He possessed an accepting nature that allowed people to feel at ease in his company. His generosity knew no bounds; he was always ready to lend a helping hand or offer support when needed.

Wayne had a passion for sweets that brought joy to those who shared this interest with him. In his leisure time, Wayne enjoyed spending precious moments with his family and close friends. Family meant the world to him, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He is survived by son Mark Briley, daughter-in-law Andrea Silva, son Matt Briley and daughter-in-law Monica Briley, grandson Austin Briley, and brother Samuel Briley.
